April 15 - 26:  Bring your Quarters!!

Do you want to win a free dress day for your WHOLE class? 

What about a trip to Cosmic Air Adventure Park for EVERYONE in your class?  Between April 15th - 26th, we are challenging everyone to empty your pockets and piggy banks to bring all your QUARTERS into class.  Every class that fills their bottle with quarters will win a free dress day.  The class with the most quarters on April 26th, will win 30 minutes of free play at Cosmic Air Adventure Park.  All money collected will benefit 5th grade field trip transportation.

Field Day

Our annual Field Day will take place on Friday, May 10th! We need wonderful volunteers to help make it a FUN and special day for the students! Please click the sign up link below for more information! We look forward to having you join us! 

Please note: Parents will not be following their child around to the different activities. Volunteers will be assigned to a specific event upon arrival.

PTO Celebrates Earth Day!

Happy Earth Day!

Let's beautify our campus through nature.  Please join us for several events to celebrate Earth Day.

Friday April 19

• 6:45 am- 7:15 am 
• During Enrichment time - YOU MUST SIGN UP USING LINK, before Thursday at 9 pm
• 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Families will be planting in the courtyard.  Please make sure you are VIPS approved if you plan to come during the day.

We will be planting any remaining plants if needed.

If you do not have a green thumb but you would like to contribute, we are asking for donations to purchase plants for this event.  All donations will be used to purchase plants for the event.  Any amount is appreciated!  

*Families are encouraged to bring their own gloves, shovels or trowels or any other gardening tools you have available.  We will have a few, but not enough for everyone.

Flag Design Challenge

The IDEA Committee is having a Flags of the World Challenge. We would like to display flags from different countries in our school.  If you want your country to be represented, please send your original artwork following the set guidelines: 

• Flag must be created by hand
• No 3-D elements (Flag will be laminated by the PTO)
• Flag MUST be on a 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper or cardstock- NO EXCEPTIONS. (Standard printer paper)
• Student(s) Name, Grade and Country on the back in pencil
• One country per sheet of paper. Family may submit more than one country. 

Deadline is May 1st- please leave entries in the PTO Mailbox in the front office.

Each spring, the PTO has a special meeting for all paid PTO Board members.  All members are encouraged to attend this meeting in the Library.  During the meeting you can expect:

• After3- NEW after school program for 2024-2025:  Come and hear more!

Teacher Appreciation Week

We will be celebrating  our annual Teacher Appreciation Week Monday, May 6th through Friday, May 10th. Please read below the variety of opportunities to demonstrate gratitude to our wonderful teachers!  One way we will be honoring our BBE teachers is by sharing sweet and savory snacks, drinks, and replenishing their school supplies. These treats will be enjoyed by the teachers all week! If you would like to donate, please check out the link below.

We will be collecting in the carpool lane at morning drop off from Thursday, April 18- Thursday, April 25th. There will be a  PTO cart under the covered carpool entrance for your donations.

Bobcat Bazaar

School Store On-The-Go returns and will now be called Bobcat Bazaar!  Students will have the opportunity to practice their financial skills by choosing and purchasing items from our school store.   Trinkets, pens, pencils, and more items will be available for as low as $0.10.  Please send money with your child in a labeled baggie or envelope if you would like them to participate.   

April 26:  Kinder, 2nd, 4th Grade
