Welcome Back and Happy New Year!

Welcome back, Bobcat Community!

Happy New Year! We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. Our dedicated teachers were hard at work on Monday, January 6th, preparing for the second half of the school year. Thanks to their efforts, we have hit the ground running!

We are thrilled to continue our journey of learning and growth together. We have a busy month ahead of us with testing but we are ready to go!

Wishing everyone a fantastic start to 2025.

Go Bobcats!

NWEA Map Testing

Next week, we will be conducting the NWEA Middle of the Year (MOY) testing. Schedule for next week:

  • 1/13: Math (Kindergarten)
  • 1/14: Math (1st - 5th grade)
  • 1/15: Reading (2nd - 5th grade)
  • 1/16: Science (2nd - 5th grade)

MOY testing is crucial for assessing our students' progress halfway through the academic year. Please ensure your child is present and on time each day next week. The campus will be closed to all visitors on the dates listed.

Helpful Testing Tips:

  1. Good Night's Sleep: Ensure your child gets plenty of rest the night before each test.
  2. Healthy Breakfast: A nutritious breakfast can help improve concentration and performance.
  3. Arrive Early: Aim to arrive early avoid any last-minute stress.
  4. Stay Positive: Encourage your child to stay calm and confident.

Any class with perfect attendance from Monday to Thursday by 7:50 AM will earn a free dress day on Friday, 1/17. Let's make this a successful testing week!

Arrival & Dismissal Reminders

School begins at 7:30 a.m. Students arriving after 7:40 a.m. are considered tardy. Students arriving after 9:00 a.m., without a doctor's excuse, will be marked absent.

Arrival: Only PreK, SPED, and Safety Patrol students are permitted to use the bus lane for drop-off. A big thank you to Ms. Calix for doing a wonderful job each morning!

Let's work together to ensure a smooth and safe arrival and dismissal process for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation!
