Astronaut Visit!

Former Bush Elementary student and now Astronaut, Ms. Anna Menon, will be visiting our students and staff tomorrow, February 27th! We are so excited to have her back at Bush. Ms. Menon graduated from Bush Elementary and credits a field trip she went on in 4th grade to NASA for inspiring her to become an astronaut.

This will be a student-only event. Ms. Menon will be speaking to all grade levels, answering student questions, and doing a read-aloud of her children's book that she wrote.

Family Picnic

Please mark your calendars for our annual Bush ES family picnic on Friday, March 7th at 11:15 AM. We are excited to welcome you to this special event! Here are a few details:

  • Each family will receive four wristbands, allowing a maximum of four people to attend per family.
  • Wristbands will be sent home on Monday.
  • Older siblings can eat with younger siblings if with family.
  • Maps with designated areas for each grade level will be shared next week.
  • Parent entrance procedures will be shared next week.

This is a wonderful opportunity for parents and loved ones to come to Bush and enjoy a picnic lunch with their child(ren).

We look forward to seeing you there!
