Message from Mr. Barry:

Welcome to Barbara Bush Elementary. I am looking forward to continuing my work in the community in which I have been a part of for eight years and counting! The partnership between our parents/guardians, teachers, and students is crucial to the success and sustained excellence at Bush Elementary. The pillars in which Bush was founded will continue to be at the forefront as we strive to always raise the bar of excellence. Those pillars include an intense instructional focus, strong partnership with the community, high expectations for our students, and ongoing relationships with our students, staff, and community.

School Supplies and “Back to School” Packet

Pre- order your school supplies and uniforms now!  The PTO website has opened our “Back To School Packet” where you can order items for the new school year and fill out some other important information.  You will be led through several forms in the “Back to School Packet”. The Dismissal Tag Pre-Registration form is mandatory; all others are optional.

If you do not wish to fill out a form, scroll to the bottom and click to the next form. You may revisit any of the forms later by navigating to your DASHBOARD.

Please Note:  Apparel and Uniform PRE-ORDER is only available through August 4.  You may also purchase apparel at the Meet the Teacher Event on August 7.

3:00- 3:40 last name A-L

3:50- 4:30 last name M-Z 

3:00- 5:30 PTO supplies and questions 

Please join us at our Back to School Event on August 7 from 3 - 5:30 pm.  Students with the last name starting with A-L will be able to meet your teacher between 3:00 and 3:40. Students with the last name starting with M-Z will be able to meet your teacher between 3:50 and 4:30.  The cafeteria and multipurpose rooms will be open from 3- 5:30 for all of your PTO needs such as school supplies, uniforms, dismissal tags (REQUIRED FOR ALL STUDENTS), website questions, volunteering, membership, and any other questions you have!

Join Principal Barry and the PTO after drop off on the first day of school, August 12. Chat with Mr. Barry or ask PTO Board Members and other experienced families any questions you may have. If you did not pick up your Dismissal Tags, they will be available so you have them ready for first day of school pick up. This is a great event for new families and returning families are welcome too!

Rolling Back to School!  

August 2

5 - 7 pm

Dairy Ashford Roller Rink

Join us for an evening of fun at the roller rink! Principal Barry will be in attendance at the event. If you have not had a chance to meet him yet, this would be a great opportunity to get to know him while your kids have fun in the air conditioning!  A portion of all admission fees will benefit the BBE PTO, so be sure to mention the Barbara Bush PTO when you purchase your admission.
