MONSTER DASH:  FRI. NOVEMBER 15

Part two of our Monster Dash Bash will be the "Dash" which is a Fun Run that takes place in school during your student’s Enrichment Period.  As a family, you will work together asking friends and family to donate on your student’s Donation Page at MyBooster.com. This is a user-friendly fundraising platform that will help us to earn funds to help our school.  This is a fitness-focused event for our students!

  1. 👍 Sign up at MyBooster.com today. Search for “Barbara Bush Elementary.”
  2. 💵 Donate and ✉️ Share. We are encouraging every family to share their donation page with 10 people.
  3. 🎁 Throughout the week, classes will earn fun rewards based on how much they raise on the classroom tracker. 
  4. 🎉 11/15/2024: Event Day. This is our epic celebration day -  Bush Monster Dash- be sure to wear your T-shirt if you pre ordered!

More about the event: 

  • To sign up  at MyBooster.com, you'll need to create an account using your email address and then choose Barbara Bush Elementary as your school.  
  • You'll then create your student(s) profile.  Picture is optional.  
  • Share the donation page with friends or family. 
  • If you choose to donate, you can either donate a set amount per lap, or a flat amount. Students will likely run about 35 laps in the time allotted. IF YOU DONATE PER LAP, KEEP IN MIND THEY WILL RUN UP TO 35 LAPS (see photos below)
  • Parents are welcome to come watch their students run if you are VIPS approved. Students run during their Enrichment Period.
  • Students earn prizes based on the amount of donations they receive.  (see photo below for prizes)
  • Students will also be watching/hearing about different Character Traits each day to get them excited for the Dash.  Be sure to ask your students what they learned about each day! 
  • VIPS approved adults are encouraged to volunteer to help count student laps.  Volunteer Here
  • Adults who are not volunteered may come watch their students run and cheer them on! 

 

Per Lap Donation options.  Total is based on number of laps they will run on November 15.
